Key Elements of Oregon Grievance:

• In Writing: OWWSA will accept hand written, typed or emailed grievances and they must be signed and dated.
• Time Limits: For public meeting violations, grievances must be filed within 30 days of the meeting. OWWSA has 21 days to respond.
• Details Required: Name, contact information, date of incident, and a detailed description of the violation. 

For specific types of grievances, such as public meetings, the process is strictly defined by law (ORS 192.705).
